The Polsihing Pads
As optical connector performances are pushed ever further, the importance of achieving precise high quality endface geometry during manufacture is critical. The simple answer to this question is machine polishing, however sometimes customers still have cause to use manual polishing techniques.
To meet this requirement AVoptics supply a range of specific hardness polishing pads to be used with standard papers and pucks. These pads are manufactured with specific Shore Hardnesses and therefore ensure operators achieve consistent endface geometry saving time and money.
